Inside each box, you'll also find collectible cards for each cheese, including information about the cheesemaker, flavour profiles, and awards.

And for every box bought, we'll donate a meal to a Trussell Trust food bank on your behalf.

Baron Bigod (250g) - Fen Farm, Suffolk

Baron Bigod is the only traditional raw milk Brie-de-Meaux style cheese produced in the UK, and one of only a handful of its type in the world to be made by the farmer on the farm.

Beneath its nutty, mushroomy rind, Baron Bigod has a smooth, silky golden layer that will often ooze out over the delicate, fresh and citrusy centre.

Gorwydd Caerphilly (150g) - Trethowan Brothers, Somerset

Gorwydd Caerphilly offers multiple flavours within one cheese. The centre is sharper, rich and fresh while closer to the rind presents a contrasting earthy, natural flavour.

Todd and Maugan Trethowan, the cheese-making brothers behind Gorwydd Caerphilly, have had an amazing year in 2021, scooping some outstanding awards including 3 Gold Stars at the Great Taste Awards as well as Best British Cheese at the World Cheese Awards.

Beauvale (150g) - Cropwell Bishop Creamery, Nottingham

Beauvale is really something special, made by Cropwell Bishop Creamery.

Beauvale has been carefully developed to perfection, and like an Italian dolcelatte, it melts in pockets at room temperature. With a soft, spreadable texture and mellow flavour, Beauvale is perfect for both Stilton fans and those who prefer a milder blue.

Mayfield (150g) - Alsop & Walker, Sussex

One of our all-time favourites at The Cheese Collective, Mayfield has been carefully crafted by Arthur Alsop and his team in Sussex.

Mayfield is an Emmental-style cheese that is sweet, nutty and creamy, and is delicious on its own or melted into fondues or raclettes. It is matured for 5-7 months, developing into a creamy yet complex cheese with natural eyes (holes).

Keen’s Mature Cheddar (150g) - Keen’s Cheddar, Somerset

The Keen family has been making unpasteurised Keen’s Cheddar since they moved to Moorhayes Farm in 1899. Five generations later, and they are still there and proud to be producing world famous, award-winning British cheddar cheese.

Keen’s Cheddar is made using raw milk and is aged for 18 months, creating a sweet, strong, nutty and moreish cheese that crumbles in the hand and melts in the mouth.

Sussex Slipcote (100g button) - High Weald Dairy, Sussex

The only ewe's milk cheese on the list, Sussex Slipcote is a fresh soft cheese made with organic sheep milk. It has a light, creamy, fluffy texture and a slightly sharp refreshing flavour. Packed in small 100g “buttons”,  it is also available flavoured with Garlic & Herb, Cracked Black Peppercorn or Dill.

Nanny McBrie (125g) - Appleby Creamery, Cumbria 

Nanny McBrie is made by Appleby Creamery, based in the Eden Valley. Its a beautiful mould ripened goats milk brie that’s rich and creamy. The milk comes Meaburn Hall in the Eden Valley - a small goat farm run by the McPhee family. Nanny is a female goat, and so taking inspiration from Emma Thompson’s Nanny McPhee, the Nanny McBrie cheese was born.

Gouda with Cumin (150g) - Connage Highland Dairy, Inverness

Connage Highland Dairy is a family-run business that was established in 2006 by the Clark family at Ardersier, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.  

At this unique location, the cows graze on clover misted with sea spray from the Moray Firth, which gives their milk an extra special taste.  

The cumin seeds marry perfectly with the gouda, giving it a lightly spiced eastern flavour.

Blue Stilton (150g) - Cropwell Bishop Creamery, Nottinghamshire

Stilton Cheese has designated protection of origin (PDO) status from the EU, which means it can only be produced in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.

There are only 6 Stilton producers in the world, and Cropwell Bishop is one of the best! The Skailes family who run the business have been making Stilton the traditional way since the 1920s.

Their Blue Stilton has a rich tangy flavour, and a velvety-soft texture that makes it melt in the mouth.

Westcombe Red (150g) - Westcombe Dairy, Somerset

Westcombe Red is a modern take on a traditional Red Leicester, and falls somewhere between a complex Traditional Cheddar and more delicate Aged Caerphilly.

Made in traditional cloth-bound ten kilo wheels and aged for around five months, Westcombe Red boasts a good depth of flavour with lasting notes of roasted nut and fresh summer grass.
